The mission of the D.O.R is to assist Californians with disabilities in obtaining and retaining employment and maximizing their ability to live independently in their communities. The State of California's LEAP program offers persons with disabilities the opportunity to apply for a series of job classifications in the state civil service system. JAN is a free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the employability of people with disabilities.
