Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible (and remain eligible) for the CSUEB Workability IV (WA-IV) Program you must be:

  1. Registered client with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR).
  2. An individual with a disability whose goal is to seek a career in his or her academic field upon graduation.
  3. A matriculated, full-time CSUEB student with a minimum of 12 units per quarter (unit load may be less than 12 units with special, documented circumstances).
  4. In good academic standing at CSUEB and with your major department (must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0).
  5. CSUEB students must be registered with the Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) located at LI 2400.
  6. A student who actively participates in the WorkAbility-IV program activities and demonstrates reasonable progress in career development and employment preparation.
  7. A student who demonstrates an ongoing commitment to completing an internship or gaining other exposure to an employment setting prior to graduation.
  8. A CSUEB alumni. Payment of the CSUEB Career Development Center (CDC) Alumni fee is required.
  9. Alumni of other out-of-area universities, open-university students, and extended education/continuing education students that are DOR clients can also be referred to the WA-IV Program but are not eligible to participate in the On-campus Interviews. Payment of the CSUEB Career Development Center (CDC) Alumni fee is required.
