Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible (and remain eligible) for the CSUEB Workability IV (WA-IV) Program you must be:
- Registered client with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR).
- An individual with a disability whose goal is to seek a career in his or her academic field upon graduation.
- A matriculated, full-time CSUEB student with a minimum of 12 units per quarter (unit load may be less than 12 units with special, documented circumstances).
- In good academic standing at CSUEB and with your major department (must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0).
- CSUEB students must be registered with the Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) located at LI 2400.
- A student who actively participates in the WorkAbility-IV program activities and demonstrates reasonable progress in career development and employment preparation.
- A student who demonstrates an ongoing commitment to completing an internship or gaining other exposure to an employment setting prior to graduation.
- A CSUEB alumni. Payment of the CSUEB Career Development Center (CDC) Alumni fee is required.
- Alumni of other out-of-area universities, open-university students, and extended education/continuing education students that are DOR clients can also be referred to the WA-IV Program but are not eligible to participate in the On-campus Interviews. Payment of the CSUEB Career Development Center (CDC) Alumni fee is required.
