CaPS accepts applications from qualified individuals who have recently earned a doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology and have the goal of obtaining licensure.

This is a 32-hour per week paid position. A 12-month commitment starting in the fall quarter (late September) is required. Counseling and Psychological Services (CaPS) offers individual, couples, and group counseling to currently registered students at CSUEB using brief therapy models. In addition, outreach and consultation programs are provided to the university community.

The postdoctoral fellowship program aims to provide training and opportunities for the postdoctoral fellow to utilize the skills (s)he brings to and develops at CaPS.
