Counseling and Psychological Services (CaPS), the student counseling center at California State University, East Bay accepts applications from qualified post-Master's Registered MFT Interns for counselor
intern positions.
These are up to 20-hour per week paid positions. A 9-month commitment for the academic year (late September- mid June) is required. Second year placements may be available. Counseling and Psychological Services (CaPS) offers individual, couples, and group counseling to currently registered students at CSUEB using brief therapy models. In addition, outreach and consultation programs are provided to the
university community.
A successful candidate must demonstrate a high degree of competence in clinical skills and have a minimum of one-year experience providing counseling. Experience working with clients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds is desired.
Applications for 2008-2009 positions are due February 15, 2008.
