Orientation is not just for students, but also is an important time for parents and guests! We have designed a special program to address the questions and concerns your parents or family members may have as you prepare to join the Cal State East Bay community. Family members play a key role in helping students succeed in college. The Family Orientation Program provides information to help family members support their student during the first year.
Family dates will fall on the FIRST DAY of the Freshman Programs
Highlights include:
- Academics at CSUEB: An Overview of General Education, Degree Requirements and Registration
- Life at Cal State - A Student Panel
- Campus Tours
- Special interest sessions on Career Services, Campus Safety, Living Options and more
- Opportunities to speak with representatives of campus departments, including Financial Aid, Testing and Housing
The Family Program ends at approximately 3:30 PM. The sessions for the Family Program are separate from the student sessions.
