![]() Faculty ResourcesPeer tutoring at the SCAA can be an excellent resource to provide your students with additional practice developing their skills and learning to “study smarter.” We have one rule at the SCAA: the tutors are not allowed to edit papers or do homework for students. So what do we do? How we help students with their writing!
How we help students with their math and statistics
Faculty Referral The attached voluntary faculty referral form will help you, your students, and us at The Center address your students' needs more effectively. We hope these referrals will also provide a feedback mechanism so that we can learn how your students are benefiting from tutoring at The Center. Faculty form request

Please contact Dr. Weiss or Dr. Christianson at extension 5-4759 or scaa@csueastbay.edu for more information. "Working in Groups" CD Available The SCAA presents a 5-minute CD, “Working in Groups.” Do your students complain when they have to do group projects? It can be difficult getting students to work in productive groups. This CD shows three thought-provoking (and somewhat humorous) scenarios of student groups in action. Faculty can check out a copy of the CD from the SCAA or the Office of Faculty Development to show to their classes and generate discussion on group dynamics and working in teams. “We All Win When We Play” The View The value of writing across the curriculum.
